I first tried avocado in a smoothie in Costa Rica in 2013 and I’ve never looked back. It might sound odd to some, but avocado creates the most delicious creamy texture and it’s so simple to make. The hardest part might be finding a ripe avocado at the supermarket!
Here's what you'll need:
- 1 ripe avocado*
- 1 cup of water, or milk of your choice
- 1 scoop of My New Tum™ PROTEIN
- Peel the avocado and discard the stone. Blend everything together and ‘Buen Provecho’ (this translates to ‘enjoy your meal’ as they say in Costa Rica before eating).
*You can add other fruits to this recipe, or turn it into a chocolate avocado smoothie by adding a spoonful of cocoa powder. Top tip, leave ice cubes out of this smoothie as it doesn’t mix well with the avocado.
