Beetroot Protein Brownies

Beetroot Protein Brownie WLS recipe

 

You don't need to avoid sweet treats after weight loss surgery when healthier alternatives like this exist! These are yummy and much better for you than your normal chocolate brownies.

 

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2 cooked and peeled beetroot, roughly chopped
  • 175g ground almonds
  • 120g chestnut puree
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 45g honey
  • 1 scoop of My New Tum™ PROTEIN
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees (160 fan).
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blitz to a smooth batter.
  3. Tip the batter into a lined brownie tin (approx 28cm x 15cm) and bake for 18 minutes.
  4. Remove the brownie from the oven and leave to cool slightly before cutting into squares and chomping down.
