Calcium: Not getting enough could be bad news

We usually associate Calcium with strong healthy bones, but that’s not all our bodies rely on Calcium for.

We store most of it in our bones and teeth. When we become deficient, our body pulls from these ‘calcium reserves’ and prioritises its use for nerve and muscle function — like regulating our heartbeat and blood pressure.

So not getting enough Calcium could be bad news for your bones, making them weak or brittle.

You may also experience other unpleasant symptoms like abnormal blood clotting, fatigue, face twitching, muscle spasms or cramps, and numbness or pins and needles.

We put a whopping 1200mg of Calcium into each daily dose of My New Tum™ MULTI so we've got you covered.
